Completing an action plan

In this article, we explain how to complete an action plan.

Written by Billy Dilks

You may need to complete an action plan to record agreed improvements, track progress with the provider, and finalise the steps required following an assessment.

When the Action Plan is agreed upon, the Provider can add comments and upload evidence that they have met the objectives of the plan. The Assessor will monitor progress throughout the Plan period. Once all the Plan Objectives have been met, the assessment will display that the action plan for the assessment has been achieved.

1. Once the Assessor has received your draft action plan. They will review it. Then contact you if they need to discuss it further.
2. Once they are happy with the plan. They will approve this, and the status will then show as In Progress.
3. You may not return to your action plan and add any information such as comments or documents.
4. Documents can be uploaded to the action item by selecting the Attachment icon and Choose File.
5. Once an action is complete, check the Completed By Provider box.
6. When you have completed all outstanding actions, click Submit Action Plan.
7. Your assessor will receive an email informing them that your Action Plan is completed and awaiting final review.
8. Once your assessor is satisfied, they will check the Approved By Assessor box for all actions.
9. Your action plan status will then change to Complete - Published.
